Getting Started 01
Dec. 01 (Thu) 10:30-12:00 Exhibition Hall D, Pacifico Yokohama
Antenna Introductory Course Starting from Scratch
Organizers : APMC 2022 Exhibition CommitteeChair : Yuta Sugiyama (Mitsubishi Electric Corp.)
Recently, wireless communication is widely used. Antenna is one of the important components in wireless communication. However, it seems that beginners feel antenna development is difficult. In this WE7B session, basic type of antennas and its characteristics are introduced. In addition, antenna design, measurement methods and propagation are explained.

Tutorial Lecture of Photonic and Millimeter-Wave / Terahertz Technologies Aiming for 6G Telecommunications
Organizers : APMC 2022 Exhibition CommitteeChair : Masayuki Kimishima (Advantest Lab.)
Standardization works and basic technology developments for 6G are aggressively advancing.8
For 6G, optical radio fusion technology for wireless communications is a key point. It is important to understand the technical difficulties and the essential problems whether the wireless communication using terahertz can be realized. In the tutorial lecture, photonic and millimeter-wave/terahertz technologies for 6G wireless communications are basically described.

Tutorial Lecture of Microwave Technology in Quantum Computers
Organizers : APMC 2022 Exhibition CommitteeChair : Yuta Sugiyama (Mitsubishi Electric Corp.)
The development of quantum computers has progressed rapidly over the past decade, and the number of qubits is expected to reach several thousands within a few years. As the number of qubits increases, the importance of microwave waveform generators and detectors, which control the qubits and function as a computer, is growing.
In this tutorial, microwaves in quantum computers are basically described.
