- * Transmission Line Theory for Understanding the Acoustic Mechanisms of the Inner Ear - Cochlea and Vestibule -
- Highlight
- Human hearing is a high-performance analog receiver composed of the outer ear (antenna), the middle ear (impedance transformer), and the inner ear (spectrum analyzer). The cochlea performs advanced signal analysis by employing even?odd mode theory, propagation-mode coupling, and differential principles. However, when the vestibule, which governs the sense of balance, is damaged, hearing loss can occur. Would you join us in elucidating the reason by applying the knowledge of microwave engineering?
