- The research activities for electromagnetic (EM) energy applications in the Laboratory are introduced as showing developed full color miniature sensor for visualizing triaxial magnetic field distribution inside phantom model, dynamic evaluation of temperature dependent electromagnetic properties in microwaves, and measurement of temperature distribution inside human and human model using Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) equipment.

- We are working on the development of millimeter wave systems integrated with the designs of not only the base band processing but also the RF circuits. The performance of the millimeter wave systems will be improved with the spatial diversity. On the other hand, we also conducted the low noise design of the MIMO-SF receiver.

- Adaptive System for Quick and High-Spatial-Resolution Landmine Visualization
- Highlight
- We have developed a novel plastic landmine visualization system based on a complex-valued neural network. Their system should capture reflection phase and amplitude with a wide frequency bandwidth, a high spatial resolution, and a quick scanning ability. We present a prototype system that satisfies the requirements.

- Microwave propagations have been successfully displayed using 3D imaging techniques.
