Highlight
We proposed a tunable power amplifier, a tunable power divider/combiner and a low noise amplifier.
In the measurements :
The tunable power amplifier, center frequency shifted 1.5GHz to 2GHz.
The tunable power divider/combiner, center frequency shifted 1.8GHz to 2.4GHz, with -19.5dB return loss,
±0.3dB outputs amplitude difference, and 90±3º phase difference.

The recent research progress in our laboratory will be introduced in detail, including analysis techniques
for the photonic crystal structure in THz Regime, the ultra-wideband (DC〜20GHz) EM-field mapping

lossy materials and new synthesis theory for designing UWB filters.

We exhibit high gain antennas in the millimeter-wave band such as radial line slot antenna (RLSA),
slotted waveguide arrays and parallel plate post-wall waveguide slot antennas.
Electromagnetic simulation and measurement of transmission lines with dummy metal fills on a Si-CMOS
chip in the millimeter-wave band are also displayed in a panel.

We are specialists in antenna design for a wide variety of applications and analyses of EM propagation.

We show the high performance parts of radio telescope.

Highlight
Our laboratory has a 1.85m dia. mm-wave radio telescope. Using this telescope, we can receive very low
power signals from astronomical objects by home made superconductive mixers and HEMT amplifiers,
these high sensitive devices are exhibited. We show also the high performance feed-horn, polarizers and
mirrors.
