Title Millimeter-wave integrated circuits using NRD guide and their applications

The NRD-guide is suitable for producing high-performance integrated circuits and high-efficiency planar antennas at millimeter-wave frequencies. The NRD-guide front-ends developed for various kinds of millimeter-wave communication systems such as an ultra high-speed wireless LAN and a multi-channel TV signal distribution are presented in this exhibition.

Title Microwave and millimeter wave measurements of low-loss dielectrics and high-Tc superconductors and development of HTS filters

Microwave measurements of dielectric plate samples will be demonstrated using a network analyzer and software developed in our laboratory. If you bring low-loss dielectric plate samples (50×50mm2, thickness <1.5mm), you can get the measured results of εr and tanδ at our booth.
(1) Measurement of low-loss dielectric plates in microwave and millimeter wave regions.
(2) Measurement of surface resistance of high-Tc superconductor films.
(3) High-Tc superconductor filters.

Title Radio Wave Absorbers, Measurement of Material Constants and Microwave Filters

Various microwave/millimeter-wave absorbers such as a plasterboard absorber, an acoustic radiowave absorber and others have been developed. Furthermore, measurement of material constants has been carried out. Microwave filters and duplexers with out-of-band rejection characteristics and transmission lines with periodic structures using cylindrical dielectric materials are also investigated.
