[ Integrated-Antenna Handset for Quick and High-Spatial-Resolution Landmine Imaging ]
Highlight
We develop novel plastic landmine detection systems based on the complex-valued neural networks. Their handset capturing phase and amplitude of reflection needs to have a wide frequency bandwidth, a high spatial resolution, and a quick scanning ability.
We exhibit a prototype of such a high performance handset.

[ Millimeter-Wave Slotted Waveguide Arrays and Center-Feed Single-Layer Slotted Waveguide Arrays for PDD ]
Highlight
We present millimeter-wave alternating-phase fed single-layer slotted waveguide arrays with chokes and post-wall waveguide fed parallel-plate slotted arrays. We also show a 26GHz-band orthogonally arranged two center-feed single-layer slotted waveguide arrays for Polarization Division Duplex, which has more than 80dB isolation in simulation and measurement.

[ Reconfigurable RF Circuit Design Using Si-CMOS Process ]

We are studying reconfigurable CMOS RF circuits and on-chip transmission-line circuits. We will show particular circuits including multi-band VCOs, a self-compensation LNA, and gigahertz on-chip transmission-line circuits using a 0.18μm CMOS process.

Development of millimeterwave dielectrics is expected. Temperature coefficient of resonant frequency on the forsterite with high Q was improved and the forsterite was applied to devices.
High Q forsterite : εr=6.8, Q・f =240000GHz, τf=-65ppm/ºC
Zero f forsterite : εr=11, Q・f =81000GHz, τf=0ppm/ºC
