【路面状況監視装置】道路面上のマイクロ波を検知し、路面の状況（乾燥・湿潤・圧雪・凍結）の判定を行う装置。
【マイクロ波 / ミリ波放射計】
光・赤外線で見えない物を検知。物質が出す電波を受信し、物質の輝度温度の観測を行う。夜・雨・霧・炎・衣類を透過。パッシブセンサで電波を出さないため、安全・免許不要。持ち運び可能なサイズで、バッテリーで6時間観測可能。
